Ranch Hand Camp (Boys/Girls Ages 13-17)
Geared for campers who love horses and all the activities associated with running a real horse ranch, the Ranch Hand camps are extremely popular. Campers are immersed into the care of our horses, and receive basic horsemanship training while enjoying the beautiful camp scenery available on our over 600 acres of trails. Activities also include some of the Junior and Teen Camp favorites, such as swimming, crafts, sports, archery, mini golf, RC cars, and much more. There are daily Bible lessons structured in an age-appropriate way.
Camp at THRBC can be physically demanding, and some campers may be unable to participate in all activities. If the Camp Manager determines a camper in unable to participate safely in camp/activities, he may request that the camper be picked up early from THRBC.
These camps fill up fast every year, so get your application in as soon as possible! There are separate weeks for girls and boys.
Some of the activities:
- Groom and care for horse
- Learn to saddle
- Scavenger hunt
- Tube float
- Obstacle Course
- Roping

THRBC Medical Care Guidelines
PLEASE HAVE CAMPER MEDICINE FILLED OUT ONLINE AND BRING ALL CAMPER MEDICATIONS TO CHECK-IN TO GIVE TO THE NURSE. BRING IN THE ORIGINAL PRESCRIPTION BOTTLE/PACKAGE FOR IDENTIFICATION OF ALL MEDICATION. ONLY BRING WHAT YOUR CAMPER NEEDS FOR THE WEEK. All medications, including over-the-counter (non-prescription) medications, will be turned in to the nurse, and she will supervise their administration. Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp has a nurse’s office stocked with over-the-counter as well as some prescription medications that an on-site RN dispenses under the direction of an on-call physician. Any time a camper requires medical care beyond what can be provided by the nurse’s office, the parent/guardian will be contacted for notification, consent, and the gathering of the camper’s medical insurance information.
